What is the inbound transfer limit for Chime? ›

There is no limit to the number of times per day nor is there a maximum dollar limit. However, external banks may impose their own limits and fees. Please note that you cannot initiate transfers from your external savings account to your Chime account within the Chime mobile app or website.

Limits are exceeded

Your transactions can decline when you exceed the spending or withdrawal limit on your Checking Account, or the available-to-spend limit in your Credit Builder secured account. To view your spending, withdrawal, and transfer limits in your app: Go to Settings. Tap Account info.

Each of your daily withdrawal and spending limits will reset at midnight Mountain Standard Time (MST) after you reach them. *ATM owner-operators, merchants, and participating banks may impose their own lower limits on cash withdrawals. Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank.

Bank transfer amount limits work by limiting the amount of money that can be transferred in a single transaction. If the transfer amount exceeds the limit, the transaction may be rejected, or the bank may require additional verification before processing the transfer.

How much money can you send on Chime with Pay Anyone? There is no limit to the number of transactions for Pay Anyone.

You can withdraw up to $515 a day from your Chime account using an ATM. This $515 and any fees you incur from out-of-network withdrawals count toward the $2,500 daily limit on the Chime card.

Delays can happen due to factors beyond Chime's control, such as bank holidays or timing from your payer. If delays persist, contact your payer to confirm the direct deposit details. Check the Social Security and SSI calendar: These payments follow a specific schedule.

Any fees incurred including ATM and over-the-counter withdrawals, funds withdrawn at a POS, and purchases are all subject to the $2,500 maximum amount you can spend each day. ATM owner-operators, merchants, and participating banks may impose their own lower limits and fees on cash withdrawals.

Chime determines your SpotMe limit at its sole discretion, and it may go up or down at any time based on these factors. Chime Member Service agents can't raise your limit for you.

You can link your external account to your Chime Checking Account on the website under Settings > Linked Accounts. You can also do this by following these steps: Click Move Money. Select Transfer from other banks.
