Jeremy Clarkson's Amazon Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm has been a huge success with viewers, but some fans of the show are calling for a big change in the upcoming fourth series

By Abbie Bray, Deputy Showbiz Editor

Fans of Clarkson's Farm have pleaded with Jeremy Clarkson to make a significant alteration to the show before its eagerly awaited fourth series.

The third series provided numerous memorable moments, from triumphant victories over the local council to positive updates about Gerald Cooper's health. Jeremy, who has confessed he knows when he'll conclude Clarkson's Farm, will rejoin the team in the fourth series, with filming commencing earlier this year as the third series was released.

Fans have been reassured via the Diddly Squat farm's Instagram account that filming for the new series is progressing well. A recent social media post from the Diddly Squat account displayed a photo of the crew's extensive collection of walkie-talkies charging for another day of filming on the farm. The caption accompanying the image assured fans: "Another day, in the can. S4."

While the news of additional footage being filmed heightened excitement levels in the comments section, it also prompted several fans to urge the team not to discard any material. One fan pleaded for a change to the show's current format - which has seen three series of eight episodes each so far - requesting: "Can you please make more than 8 episodes for season 4? ".

The demand continued from another fan who said: "I agree with everyone in this comment section when they say more episodes in the next season and definitely a Christmas episode please and thank you."

Another viewer agreed: "We need more than the 8 Episodes per Season and maybe one or two specials!" (sic).

Nonetheless, the wishes of fans haven't yielded any responsive comments yet from Jeremy and fellow members about the possibility of extending the upcoming fourth season.
