Can I pay my mortgage with online banking? ›

Yes, we offer an array of options for making your mortgage payment online. It's easy to make a mortgage payment using PNC Online Banking and there is no fee.

You can make your mortgage payment through your lender's website or mobile app, in person at a branch or by calling them. Many mortgage lenders offer a grace period of up to 15 days after the due date before charging a late fee.

If you still need to make a missed or manual payment, the quickest way is online using a credit or debit card via Manage Your Mortgage (opens in a new window). We'll show you exactly how much you need to pay, and it's usually applied to your mortgage account in just a few hours.

Pay through a bank account, not with a card.

We accept payments drawn from a valid checking or savings account. Credit or debit cards are not accepted for mortgage payments.

When will my funds be deducted from my account to pay my mortgage? Online payments may take 24 – 48 hours to be deducted from your account, but will post to your mortgage same day. Please allow 24 hours for your payment to be visible on your mortgage account.

Pay by phone

Call 800-365-7772 to make a payment by phone. You'll be asked to provide your checking or savings account number and your bank's routing number. Your mortgage payment will be electronically drafted from your loan the same day.

Generally, you can pay your mortgage loan with a credit card, but it's not as simple as paying your mortgage lender directly through your credit card company. Most mortgage lenders won't accept mortgage payments from a credit card because they would be required to pay transaction fees.

A quick note here: there is no best day of the month to pay your mortgage. Both the principal and interest amounts decrease over time, whether you make payments on the 1st, 15th, or a date in between.
