How to Make Protein Brownie Bites
These protein brownies are so easy to make! There’s nothing like the chewy, fudgy texture and chocolate flavor of this protein recipe. Here’s how to put them together:
- Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl.
- Add in cocoa powder, baking powder, chocolate protein powder, and almond butter.
- Mix until a smooth batter forms.
- Spoon the protein brownie batter into a silicone mini muffin pan or a mini muffin tin with liners.
- Add toppings, like granola butter and/or mini dark chocolate chips.
- Bake, let cool, and enjoy!
Tips/Notes
- I used vanilla granola butter because is almost has a blondie brownie flavor and texture that really takes these bites up a notch.
- You can also use brownie batter granola butter – SO good.
- This recipe can make 20 mini brownies or 10-12 medium brownies in a regular muffin tin.
- Another option is to bake these in an 8×8″ baking pan (lined with parchment paper) and cut into squares!
How to Store Mini Brownie Bites
After letting them cool, these mini brownie bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days! You can also freeze these protein brownies for up to 3 months. To thaw, simply place in the fridge for a few hours or pop them in the microwave for a few seconds.
