Page 1 of 2 - Blue/missing female skin textures - posted in Skyrim Technical Support: Alright, I'm having a rather odd glitch and I hope you all can help me. Everything was running perfectly then I shut my game off for the night. I went back to it the next day and suddenly female skin textures for some NPCs and my character appear to be missing and they are just showing up as blue. TL:DR; The best female body mod IMHO is CBBE Curvy.
*All the following photos are taken in the same location/lighting using a modified version of the Poupouri Morning Star ENB (less saturated, more sub-surface scattering). All the body settings for the character are exactly the same (weight 100) in each photo.
Dimonized UNP female body [rating: 9/10]
This mod comes in 3 different flavors – skinny, standard, and blessed. I love the proportions of the UNP body, but my one complaint is the breasts – they point a little too skyward to look realistic at larger sizes.
UNP Skinny kind of gives your character an adolescent look:
UNP Standard looks like a full-grown woman:
UNP Blessed (popularly known as UNPB) is no longer publicly available because the creator got a lot of flak for creating such an unrealistic body. I must admit, UNPB was not my favorite, but it's a shame that it was taken down for everyone who wanted to use it. You can still use UNPB if you install the Ningheim Race mod and create a Ningheim character, though:
Caliente's Beautiful Bodies (CBBE) [rating 10/10]
There are two versions of this mod – skinny and curvy. I personally think CBBE's breast slope looks more realistic than UNP. The hips are a little softer, too. That being said, both of the body types look fairly similar so I think your choice should be made on how many armors are available for the body you choose – I think more non-skimpy armors are made for UNP, whereas more skimpy armors are made for CBBE.

Sevenbase (7B) [rating: 3/10]
If you want your character to look like she has inflatable clown tit*, this mod might be for you. It's not the size of the breasts that bothers me, it's the really unrealistic slope and underboob shadow area – it makes them look kind of hard, like a bad boob job:
Fitness Body [rating: 8/10]
Fresh 2 8 5 download free. This isn't actually a body replacer – this is a mod that modifies the normal maps for each body type, so it's available for UNP and CBBE meshes. I love using this for my badass Skyrim characters. You can control how muscular your character appears by customizing the normal maps using the Fitness Body Blender.

I always get asked how to make my male OC’s because they are so damned good looking … well, now that I have a new computer, I’ve been branching out to test if there is another male face texture that would make them even more handsome. Here is a comparison (from best to worst) of all the face texture mods I tried:
TL:DR; The best male face texture mod IMHO is Better Males by Bella â€' Younger Faces Mixed with Geonox

Vanilla Male face texture [rating: 1/10]
Damn, what is it about the vanilla male face texture that makes your character look 500 years old?! Seriously, he looks like a zombie or a guy who hasn’t slept in decades. I think the vanilla texture is just too weathered for my liking.
Better Males by Bella [rating: 10/10]
This mod is my absolute favorite for male face textures. There are 3 different flavors â€' Younger Faces, Geonox, and a mix between the two. My personal preference is for the mixed version â€' I think it does a good job making your character appear fresh faced but not smooth as a baby. The Younger Faces version is just way too flawless and porcelain-like for me. The Geonox version is better but I don’t love the eye bags it gives my character.
DCE Realistic Males [rating: 6/10]
This mod comes in 2 flavors, rugged and smooth. I prefer the rugged one over the smooth one â€' it looks much more realistic. The smooth version is too flawless, making your character look like a plastic Ken doll. That being said, neither of these settings achieves the look that I like.
Skyrim Female Face Mods
Skysight Skin [rating 5/10]
This is like a super HD version of the vanilla skin, so if you like how weathered the vanilla texture is, you’ll like this mod. For me, it’s just too haggard looking, but the textures themselves are nicely done. If you’re building an older character, this might work well for you.
Fine Face Textures for Men [rating: 4/10]
There are two versions of this mod, A and B, but both look almost identical IMO. Both give your character a super young baby face. With my ENB, there is a reflective sheen and the texture looks too plastic-y (but it may not be the same if you're not using an ENB). For some reason, it also makes it look like your character is wearing guyliner so unless you want an emo OC, I wouldn’t recommend it.
