Where can I find my M&T mortgage account number?
Your new M&T account number can be found in the Welcome Kit that was mailed to you. If you have misplaced your Welcome Kit, you can also locate your new account number by using the account lookup tool.

On your annual mortgage statement.
- Log in and click to view the Accounts tab.
- Select Account Details section.
- (Underneath the Balances tiles) Select Account Info tab.
- View Account Number (press βShowβ to view full Account Number and Routing Numbers for each state.
Go online β Your mortgage company website will probably show your mortgage balance. You'll have to create an online account β with a login and password β that will enable you to view your mortgage balance anytime you wish.

LAN or Loan Account Number is a 14 or 15-digit unique identifier which is assigned to a borrower's loan account by the lender when they disburse a loan. The loan statement displays the LAN. In case a single borrower has multiple loans from the same provider, each loan account has its unique LAN.
Typically, these scams use the public details about your home loan to try and gain access to more of your personal information (credit card numbers, bank accounts, social security number, etc.) or to simply bilk you out of your hard-earned money by making you buy a product or service you don't need.
